I'm unsure if this is the right subreddit to post this on, but I figured I could give it a try. If this isn't the right subreddit, I would appreciate advice on where to post.
So I got my cat Ben around 2 years ago, when I was in a really bad place, and he became the light of my life. He means the world to me and we are together all day. He's also a very needy cat and is always clinging to me, no matter who's at home.
This year I decided to go on Erasmus (studying abroad) for one semester, so around 5 months. Today's the second day on the new country and missing my cat is something I knew that would happen, but not to the point where thinking about him or seeing any other cat online makes me want to cry (or just straight up cry). How can I even deal with this?
