She’s 15 now and she’s lived a long and happy life, but being with her now, I’m not ready for her to go. She’s so lovely and patient with children and when we got a puppy 3 years ago, she was so caring and protective. She’s the type of pet you want for the rest of your life, but I know she won’t. She’s asleep now and I just hope she slips away in her sleep and doesn’t have to hurt for much longer. She’s always been very patient with me so I’m going to be patient with her and sleep here.
