I just moved to a new home and want to adopt 2 adult cats. I used to live with my boyfriend and his dog [11 year old Mini Poodle], but since I moved my home is empty. I’m planning to adopt two cats from a shelter this Friday. I have a “cat sanctuary” set up with all their needs in one room, but it would still be new to them. My boyfriend and his dog are also coming over on Friday (but maybe like 4-5 hours later) and worried about all of them getting along. I’ve looked up methods but most of them include a cat already being in the household. What should I do here?
