Is it fleas??

I rescued a stray kitten (calico, ~6mo) about a month ago. Since then, I have discovered a whole 2 adult fleas in her bedding (1 dead, 1 live), and a lot of what I am assuming is flea larvae. I have given her 3 treatments of a "waterless flea bath" (most recently this afternoon), but still found 3 more larvae on a sheet she was sitting on this evening. I have also sprayed down her bed and toys (and the floor in her bathroom) with a flea spray. Are they possibly not fleas? They sure match the visuals I've seen online for flea larvae...
Are flea larvae dead if they're not moving around or wiggling? Or do they normally not move? I asked her vet about it, and she claims there was no sign of fleas when she was in 2 weeks ago... (The adult fleas were discovered prior to that appointment, and I did mention to the vet that I had found them.) I have been keeping the kitten segregated from my cat so as not to spread anything, and would like to kill off the fleas ASAP so that I can properly "introduce" them and find out if they'll be compatible with each other.

I've had cats for the vast majority of my life, but this is my first experience with fleas.

Thx!
