Hello! My cat is almost 5 months now and when I got him from the shelter he had an upper respiratory infection. The symptoms weren't super obvious except for a watery eye. I took him to the vet about a week after getting him and he prescribed eye drops and said his infection was pretty much gone. This was the first week of August. I gave him the eye drops for as long as the vet told me to which was about a week and saw no change so I kept giving him the eye drops. He had another appointment at the end of the month and I told the vet his eye was still the same and he told me to continue giving him the eye drops. It’s been over a month of his eye being like this and me giving him the eye drops with no change. Should I go to a different vet? Does it take a while for a blocked tear duct to clear up with eye drops? I also need advice in keeping his eye clean. The watery eye looks slightly smaller and there isn't any crust around the eye but under where the tears fall it gets flaky. I can probably get two or three wipes with a warm towel under his eye in but I am never able to clean it completely. I'll attach a picture of what his eye looks like.
