I recently moved out on my own and wanted to adopt a cat as a companion. I went to the shelter and picked a cat I liked and came back a week later to bring him home. He’s 2 years old and loves to rub himself against my legs and be petted. He’s a cute cat and I really like him. But I feel like I made a mistake adopting him. I just don’t feel ready for some reason. It’s only been less than 24 hours since I’ve had him but I just feel a lot of regret and I’m not sure why. I’m guessing it’s just cold feet but I’m not sure to be honest. Any tips or advice? Thank you!
