It’s been about six days since he was fixed. I’ve had him in a cone, I’ve been keeping him calm, checking the surgical wound about three times a day, but I’m not really sure what to look for. Today I woke up and it was leaking a yellow-pink pus. I’ve been cleaning it and keeping a close eye on it. It’s not leaking as much now, but should I be worried? He is acting normal, there’s no high heat coming off of the area, no smell, he is a little tender there but it’s to be expected. I looked it up and saw that about three days after a neuter it’s common for the site to discharge something that fits what his was leaking. What I’m wondering Is what is the neuter site suppose to look like about 6 days into healing?
