I don't know what to do. My cat is maybe 3 months old, and we took her in at just 4 weeks because the mother was not taking care of her. For the first 2 or 3 weeks she was a perfectly normal kitten, and she seemed to enjoy physical affection from people. Since then though, she has become dangerous to be around. Everyone in the house has scratches from her, and if you try to pet or hold her, she just scratches at you and runs away. I live with my parents, and they are fed up with her, basically telling me I need to get rid of her, but I would really like to try to find some way to calm her down. I have another older male cat who is a little more than a year old, and he is very calm and likes affection. If anyone has advice on what to do to help calm her, please let me know.
