I found my cat abandoned on a road side, and brought him in. He’s playful even though he is at least 4 years old (vet could only tell by looking at him) and demands a lot of attention to play with him. I have to work and I can tell he is lonely during the day.
I want to adopt another cat to keep him company, but I don’t know what to look for in another cat. I’m assuming I can’t bring my cat with me to the shelter to introduce them before I adopt one? Should I look for an equally playful cat, or a tamer quieter cat to balance him out? If he’s a neutered male, should I get a spayed female or another male?
Thanks for any advice!
