so i adopted this 2 months old female kitten yesterday.
i met with her previous owner and i got her, i didnt have a carrier at the time so i just carried her like a baby while petting her for like 15mins until i got home and she loved it.
when we got home she ran away and hid under a bed and would not come out, even to eat. i put her food and water there and went on to sleep. i dont know if she ate or not.
anyway, today i tried to get her out of there to put her in a smaller room where she'll be alone, to calm down. but she's still hiding.
i understand that this is normal behavior, but i would like advice on how to make her trust me and be comfortable and confident in her new home as soon as possible.
