This is basically to sort out if I can get a pet at some future point of time and take good care of him/her. I live alone (and the future seems to be headed in the same direction) and work full-time (from home right now, but that has to end at some point). I don't have a lot of space either.
So yeah, I guess my question is: what are the requirements for taking good care of a pet? There must be some pets that require less care than others - probably not a good idea to leave a husky home alone for entire days. Are there pets who would be fine with staying at home while I'm at work? I mean, even the idea of leaving him/her alone for the whole day hurts and this is just me thinking of hypotheticals but yeah.
