My cat who I have had for almost a year now has recently become very scared of me. I don’t remember doing anything that could have caused him to feel like this. I look after him the same, give him the same amount of love, feed him, clean his litter, have not recently tripped over him etc. He comes to me every night and every morning for love, sits on my chest etc. But when I approach him to pet him or if I’m walking past, he gets low and looks around for an escape. He often runs away from me. This was not the case before and I don’t understand it.
He was looked after for a month while I was recuperating from surgery. I know the man who looked after him did so very well and he isn’t scared of him. Only me. I really can’t figure out what I’ve done wrong!
Has anyone experienced this before?
