My cat is 15 and has hyperthyroidism. She hasnt been eating much lately, and lost about 2 pounds. I took her to the vet, and they checked her thyroid levels, and they were good, so the vet suspects cancer. I can't afford to do all the tests, and I don't want to out her through the stress, so the vet suggested euthanization. I wanted to bring her home for a few days so my family could say goodbye, in the meantime they put her on some antibiotics for nausea i think. She has been eating quit a bit more ove the past couple days. I got excited, becsue she was esting more, but do you think its just the antibiotics making her temporarily feel better?
