Felt like letting this off my chest.
I am an international freshman college student who have just adopted a cat two months ago. I am aware that this might be one of the worse timings for owning any pet, because I have no idea where my life will lead me in the next few years.
The more I think about this, the more I feel like an iresponssible owner. But, the thing is, I really need a pet. It helps ease my anxiety and depression. I have been more stable since I adopted my cat. He has been a very good cat.
The previous owner of the cat was actually another international student who had to return to her home country and left her cat behind. I don’t want to end up in the same situation as that student. Hopefully, I could bring this cat with me wherever I go in the future. If not, I will try to find this cat a good permanent home if I couldn’t bring it with me.
