Hey, I recently adopted a cat who is now 16 weeks old. I have been having severe allergic reaction to her. My throat is itchy, Ive been coughing, wheezing, sneezing. The worst symptom of all is nasal congestion. I am okay throughout the day but my nose is completely congested by the night. I have gone through two bottles of nasal sprays in a month. I feel helpless. I love cats and finally when I was financially capable of adopting one I find out that I'm allergic. Anyone here had a cat and were allergic? How did you get over your allergies if at all? Can I live with a cat and cat allergies? Any advice is welcome, I really don't want to give her away.
