The Mrs. and I are picking up the most adorable golden retriever puppy, 2 months old, sometime next week. He hasn’t been named yet and since were going to have to train him as soon as we get him my wife and I have been throwing names for him back and forth. Well she has, but I’ve had my name picked since the moment I saw the ad for that darn cute golden retriever. Gary Patrick Nuell. Something about it just suits him and gives me comfort. but my wife can’t stand it! says we can’t give a dog 3 boring human names, says she wants to name him Dodger. I just say that Gary Patrick Nuell is my name of choice and I’m sticking by it until we pick the dog up. I’m sleeping on the couch tonight, but I’ve got faith that she’ll warm up to the idea. Am I crazy for this like she thinks I am?
