Hi. I went to the dentist with my little brother earlier expecting to get a tooth extraction but all I got was a cleaning and two brand new budgies, fresh from the pet shop. Yes! They’ve only been in my house less than an hour!
My mom got a blue chested male budgie and a green-yellow female budgie. I want to know if they like being petted. When I pet the female on the belly she shakes/vibrates her wings and sort of crawls around the cage away from me. Does she like it? I can’t tell if she’s uncomfortable or if she’s moving in a more comfortable spot for me to pet.
When I pet the male he doesn’t move. I read that they like being petted but I just want to be sure. Maybe they need trust first, then they’ll like it.
Please help, I just wanna be a good parent.
Also, when will they eat? I’m concerned.
