I’ve formed strong attachments to certain kittens while fostering. It kills me to give them up once finding adopters, I cry every time just putting them in the crate and driving them back. Do kittens ever feel “abandoned” in that sense when suddenly left to go to a new home? they get clingy with me too, I know they have some level of attachment as well.
