I just got an 8 week old kitten yesterday. His first vet appointment was scheduled for tomorrow but I saw a flea on him today and managed to get him in right away. The vet looked and didn't see any flea dust but she did see the flea really quick before he hid in the fur again. She thinks we caught it early and that our home should be fine since the kitten is such a new arrival. The vet gave him some revolution and recommended to vacuum and wash bedding. Is there anything else I should worry about or do to prevent this from becoming bigger than it is now? I think the kitten must be just picked him up from his mom before we got him as the owner mentioned that the mama cat had recently snuck out. Let me know, I'm definitely freaking out! Thank you
