Hey everyone, i wanted to ask this community for some advice. so my grandparent’s have a pet dog, we call him paco. the entirety of his life with them he’s just been tied up to a fence outside with nothing to do whatsoever. They don’t play with him, they don’t bathe him, and his dental hygiene is terrible because after he eats he bleeds into his water bowl. it has been like this for about 10 years now and i can’t stand seeing him live this way. i don’t go to their house much and i know for a fact they don’t put effort to treat him properly. i don’t want to get rid of paco but i don’t want him living like this anymore, but im 16 and still with my parents who are against pets. i’ve come to reddit to ask, what should i do?
