How to properly feed kitten/fix “kitten alarm” problem?

Hi! So, I live with my boyfriend and we just adopted the cutest girl tuxedo cat, she’s 5-6 weeks old and we found her at a thrift store in a free box from one of the employees. She was feeding her dollar general brand forever pals wet cat food with tuna (canned) so that’s what I got and have been giving her a plastic spoonful worth every few hours. Is this an ok brand? If not I know switching foods can make kittens sick so any advice if this is necessary?

Another thing is she HATES being in her box. I tried playing with her before bed, feeding and making sure she has water but she instantly starts crying the minute she’s in her box. She has to stay in our room so I have no idea how to fix this to get some sleep! If she’s in the bed she might get hurt and if she’s in the room she’ll use the bathroom everywhere.

Basically, I’ve never cared for a kitten before and just want to make sure she’s healthy/happy/not an alarm clock all the time. Thanks so much for any advice.
