So about three months ago me and my husband took a trip to Missouri to get my things and his things from my grandmothers house because we were moving. Since we were taking the trip by car, my husband decided to take his old childhood dog off his mother’s hands and take him with us. It was a long trip back (about 19 hours.) So I didn’t blame him(the dog) for acting up so much because he was adjusting. Since then, he has become worse and worse in his behavior. He destroys the house while we’re gone, even is we just go check the mail. He gets on the counter and eats food and poops and pees on things even after we walk him for 30 min. We got him a Kennel because we can’t trust him at night. He goes into our offices and destroys thing and eats the cats food while destroying his litter box. It has become so impossible to leave him unattended for five minutes. Today my husband went to the bathroom, only to find he had got into the muffins on the counter. He is a big dog so we can’t get a gate. And he screams if he is in his kennel.
