We bought stephen-bob (named by my daughter) 5 months ago, he was the sweetest kitten id ever met and we all fell in love with him instantly, knocking all our stuff off our shelves, cuddling up to us and suckling on our duvet when he would go to sleep, steal our crisps from our hands he was our perfect little kitten, we had him microchipped a month ago and he loved the outdoors, earlier this evening we heard crying from outside to see that aome passers by found a cat in the road, and the second i saw it was Stephen i immediately burst into floods of tears but that wasnt the worst part, having to tell my 5 year old daughter that her kitten has gone to heaven broke my heart, does anybody have any advice or how they helped a child with the loss of a pet they adored more than anything?
