I've already made up my mind about what I'm going to but I just want to hear other people's thoughts and opinions.
I'm going to be moving away soon and my new apartment doesn't allow pets. I don't have any friends who want pets and I am LITERALLY the only person in my entire family who loves him. So I've to give him up for adoption to a no-kill shelter. I know in my heart that this is the best thing I can do for him because I can't provide for him and even though my mom said that she will look after him for me I know that she will only do the bare minimum; feed him and let him out to use the bathroom.
Now it is fair for me to say that he has shown aggression and he has bit people before, however, that isn't the reason why my family hates him (well it is but they hated him long before she started to show any signs of aggression). From the day I got him when he was 10 weeks old, everyone said that he is annoying and that I should put him to sleep. I don't know if this could actually be the main part of his aggression, but I'm sure that being surrounded by people who hate you is bound to mess with you mentally human or not. Now he mainly gets aggressive if you mess with his paws and when you try to take food from him.
I only have one real option atm and I'm sure that a lot of you have things to say or ask and I'll try my best to answer.
I should let you guys know that I really am trying my best to work with him to improve myself and him. Also, just to let you guys have a feel of the kind of people I deal with within my family, whenever they said that I should put him to sleep, they don't say put him to sleep; they have always said kill/mercy kill and that is very triggering for me and they just don't care.
