He was an indoor/outdoor cat who would frequently stay gone for a night and then come home in the morning. But he was also severely stupid, so he must have gotten lost one day because he didn't come back home.
I used to walk around the block every day and look for him, but I never saw any signs of him.
We tried leaving the litter box on the porch, we tried leaving clothes on the porch, we tried treats and food and posters and Facebook groups. Am I out of options?
He's fixed. He has a chip but wouldn't ever keep a collar on.
I know there's all those miracle stories of cats coming home after X number of months, but how often do they come home after 5 months? I just need to know if I'm holding out hope for something that isn't going to happen.
