My almost 4 yo German Shepard lab mix is obsessed with our newly adopted kitten. He’s never been around cats. When she is in the living room with us he just stares at her. I keep her in my daughters room any other time. I will put her in her travel create in the living room when I have to leave the room due to untrusting the dog and he just lays in front of it non stop. He does chase squirrels and rabbits so I’m afraid he has a high prey drive and wants to kill the kitten. My older 9 yo dog is absolutely fine with the kitten. It’s only been 5 days and I’m really hoping he adjust but I’m so nervous to even let her leave my lap!
