This 4th of July our neighbors were using illegal fireworks, mortars all of it. This was the first time we saw her react. She was absolutely terrified. We had the sound machine on, music, stayed right next to her and made her a nest in the closet, but really nothing helped. She panted and paced, drooled, and trembled. Earlier this evening a neighbor was shooting a gun. Fired 4 shots and my dog is trembling with fear. We took her on a walk outside of town and she was doing much better, but now thunder from James and the Giant Peach has her shook up again! I feel so bad I can't help her!
