Help please. My new 4 mo. kitten Tux has had trouble with going after my dog and biting/grabbing him. We distract him with toys and that works. Tux rarely goes after him now. My dog doesn’t get aggressive with that, he just runs away. (I had to add that in, in case someone goes through my post history and blames it on that)
It really surprised me today when my dog was sitting licking himself and my kitten Tux just simply walked by him, my dog snapped. He bit my poor Tux and Tux has blood on his white fur. I cannot find where the bite is? It was only a tiny tiny bit of blood. My kitten got really scared so I separated them. I am crying and don’t know what to do. Is my only choice to take my kitten back to the shelter? I am heartbroken.
Edit: My dogs breed is Shih Tzu.
