Hello all. I'm excited to say I'm getting my first cat ever which is a female Orange Tabby. I'm getting her from a shelter tomorrow and they expect her to be around 5 months old. She's scheduled her booster shots for the 19th and then she is all set. My question is I have no idea how much to feed her and what to feed her. I have both wet and dry kitten food that is the Hill's Science Diet brand, which is one of the best through hours of research. To me what makes the most sense is to get 1/2 of the wet can in the morning and leave a bowl of dry food for her to graze on throughout the day and the other 1/2 can of wet food for dinner and I guess after that remove the dry food? Or should I leave food out all the time? I know that wet food is ideal, but I think it's important that she gets enough food. If anyone has any tips let me know, I really appreciate it. Thank you!
