I'd like to know how can a human catch diseases like ringworms and toxoplasmosis from stray cats? So I only need to be careful of not being bitten or scratched? But can you catch anything from just touching the cat?
I'm worried because I will soon be on immunosuppressants drugs and there is a stray cat that always comes to my house and I enjoy petting it, she's very docile, thing is this cat has visible third eyelids from quiet a long time, so I'm not sure what's wrong with it but it does not appear to be sick. I live in the country side though so I guess there's much less risk that it carries anything dangerous.
