Accidentally introduced cat to family pets early

Hi all,

I imagine this is a common occurrence, but what are some general tips on introducing a cat to another cat and dog? My cat is a chatty and friendly adult female who I recently adopted. She's been a pretty perfect cat so far, with only a single accident and a pretty good grasp on boundaries. When I first adopted her, it only took a day for her to stop hiding and she's very friendly with other people. Her foster who took care of her prior to adoption had multiple cats and dogs. She's told me she's pretty good with other pets which is reassuring.

I just brought her to my parents house for the holidays (they have a skittish cat and a loud small dog) and am trying to keep her isolated in my room for the first few days until she gets used to her new space. She was pretty good during the car ride, however I imagine she was still stressed about traveling and visiting a new space. While I was setting up her stuff in my room, she accidentally had a run-in with my parents cat and dog.. They didn't get into an argument however she did hiss at both of them. The other cat did his back at her and the dog I don't think understood exactly what hissing means.

I have her back in my room isolated and away from the other pets, however I'm trying to find the best way to proceed. Did I mess up by letting them meet prematurely? I'm trying to follow the general advice of introducing each other via scent first and let them build up curiosity but I feel like I messed that up by having them see each other preemptively.
