I need to take my kitty on the plane with me to go home over Christmas. It’s only a 45 minute flight but in total (getting to the airport, waiting times, etc) the whole journey might take up to 4 hours. I feel really bad that he has to be in a carrier for that long as I don’t want him to feel stressed. It took a month for him to feel comfortable at our home and loads of really hard work with him, I’m so scared that he will be completely terrified after a stressful journey and I’ll have to spend all that time getting him to trust me again. He’s 4 months old and really sweet.
I would be really happy if someone could give me some advice. Can I even keep my 4 month old kitten in a carrier for that long? How do I give him food and water on the way? How will he go to the toilet if he needs to? To anyone with some experience, or tips, I’d be really grateful for some help.
