Advice on taking our pet cat to visit family for Christmas and New Year?

This year me and some family members are going to be staying over at my grandma’s house for Christmas and the new year. We have a 12 year old indoor cat (used to be semi-outdoor in her younger years) who will very likely be coming with us for the stay, which will be for at least a couple of weeks. She doesn’t like being left alone and gets sad enough when we leave her for a few days while doing daily check ups. As i mentioned above, although she liked going outside by herself when she was younger, she has been an indoor cat for a few years and has never really stayed over at another house before other than ours. She is very familiar with the five of us that will be there with her and has known us all since she was a kitten, but i’m just a little worried that it could be a stressful experience for her since it will be an unexplored environment. Maybe i’m too concerned and she might feel fine after all, but what can we do to make sure this as least stressful of an experience as possible for her?
