Hey everyone! Hope you’re safe and well. I have an 8 month old kitten that got spayed when she was 6 months. She’s healed well, except she has a hanging part of her abdominal (which I read is normal) now and a lump where her spay incision was. The lump feels like a ball. I’ve read this is normal too, however it has gotten a little bigger since first discovering it. My vet tech said it was a part of the healing process when I first felt it almost a month ago, but after giving her a bath my boyfriend and I saw it got bigger.
Is this normal? Has anyone else experience this with their cat’s spay? Any experience or advice would be most appreciated.
