Alright so, i have a male and female, brother and sister pair of 8 month old cats, but my girl is in heat and we're afraid theyre going to inbreed if we dont watch them. Is it cruel to put the male in my basement with a bed, food and water? Just only at night btw. Any advice? Vet lady told us we cant get them fixed until January so we're in this situation. I apologize if im breaking the rules or anything.
