I recently got a cat from my friend who was 11 months old that I had for about 4-5 months now, he warmed up to me within 48 hours before he was comfortable really around me. He’s the most friendly sweet cat when he’s with me but when I have company over he runs and hides but when he decides to creep out he will start hissing at my company and running away if they make a sudden loud noise or make eye contact with him making everyone that comes pretty much super uncomfortable Becuase they think he is aggressive when he’s really just scared he will do this every hour or so
I tried everything, let them fill his food/water bowl, give him treats, pay him no attention my girlfriend even stood over for 2 weeks and it seemed he didn’t warm up to her at all avoiding her and hissing at her anytime they crossed paths... I really love this cat but I don’t think I can keep it with this behavior it has towards company it’s really breaking my heart
