I am a 19 year old university student. I currently live alone in a large penthouse apartment. I'm considering adopting a 3 month old cat, and figured now is the best time since I do most of my schoolwork online and am home most of the time.
Financially, I am in a good place. My monthly budget for a cat is around $200. The only thing is, I've never cared for a pet before so this would be a big step for me.
I was told I only need to play with it for one hour a day, which I have time for.
Is there anything I should know before going on with this decision?
