Is your dog's name Daisy? Why do so many people name their dogs this?

I know four dogs named Daisy.

I went to someone's house once and their dog jumped up for pets.

I muttered to my mom, "I bet her name's Daisy."

The owner piped up

"No, her name is Rebel."

Another dog trotted in.

"Her name's Daisy, though"

Dog owners, what's the deal? Why Daisy? Is your dog named Daisy? I ask dog owners if their dog's name is Daisy and 1/3 of the time I'm right.
