So my mom and me have one cat that we took in as a stray 5 years ago (a female), we have another cat that was a stray we took in about a year ago (a male), they don’t like each other at all but they used to just stay out of each other’s way.
We recently acquired two kittens (a male and a female). My mom ignored me about giving the kittens time to adjust before introducing them and sharing their scents and what not and so now my old female cat is just constantly aggressive. The older male cat took to then really well though and he loves them.
My mom is talking about getting rid of my older female cat if we can’t get her to stop being aggressive but I really don’t think that’s very fair when we’re the ones who brought two new cats into her space without letting her warm up to them first.
Any advice on how to calm down an angry cat would help. She’s being aggressive towards us as well as the cats, but more so my mother. I just don’t want to loose any of my babies.
