My cat has been acting strange.

I got my cat Archer about a year and a half ago when he was just 3 months old. He started off as a sweet affectionate cat and acted completely normal. However, he’s become more and more oddly behaved since he turned one. He is very afraid of almost everything. He jumps when he sees anything and slinks around the house suspiciously. He hides in corners and runs away from people. When I try and pet him he gets anxious and bites/hisses. I’ve never hurt my cat or even raised my voice at him. I live in a quite household with one other cat who has never exhibited any behavior like this. It makes me so sad watching him so distressed but I really don’t know what too do. I’ve had many cats and never have had this happen. He didn’t come from an abusive household and me and my other cat had a good relationship with him up till his decline. He’s fed well and has everything I could possibly think of that a cat might want. No one has been in my house since March due too covid for more then a few minutes and I don’t recall anyone being anything mean too him. If you have any advice please respond, I just want him too be happy and normal again.
