He took a chunk out of his lip!
This is not really an emergency or anything- but more of a mystery to solve and advice is appreciated if I should take extra care with him.
Okay, so I just discovered that my cat, Niko, hurt his lip. When I found it it was bloody(but it dried when I got to take the picture) so it was pretty recent. From what I know, Niko has just been chilling in the bathroom(he likes to sit on the toilet tank). I didn't hear anything happen (though I wasn't really paying attention) and I have two other cats but one is older and doesn't like to get close to the other cats and the other has been sleeping on my bed for the past couple hours.
How the heck did he get himself hurt? Have your cats ever injured their lips?
Should I take any extra care for him to his lip?
Will it heal weird?
tl;dr I don't know how my cat took a chunk out of his lip and I want to know to prevent it in the future and to have an answer. Should I do anything to his lip to prevent further injury?
