So my kitten Loki has always been on the timid side. He’s never been the bravest or the strongest but suddenly his behavior has changed drastically. He became scared of everything. He looks around, sniffs the air, and attacks nothing. He looks petrified, his fur puffs up and he won’t leave my room. He can’t even muster up the courage to look out the door. This just started yesterday morning. I took him to the hospital but they didn’t find anything. I’m very worried about him. I haven’t found any mice or bugs and the other two kittens in the house are fine.
He’s still eating and drinking but I haven’t seen him use the restroom for a while, though there are 3 litter boxes and I don’t watch him constantly. He doesn’t act painful and the vet found no pain but something is very wrong with him.
In the car and at the vet he was completely calm but in the apartment he’s stressed and scared. The other cats are fine around him and he’s fine around them. I really don’t know what the problem is
