one of my cats (3y/o, male, neutered) has recently begun scratching the shit out of my legs every morning at around 6 am. in the beginning he’d be climbing on top of me and nudging me while purring and stuff for my attention, which i’m used to, but now i guess he thinks my legs are hiding from him in my blanket or something and he won’t stop scratching them. i usually open the windows to a small enclosure they have outside my window where they watch cars and stuff, but for a few days now that doesn’t faze him either. my cats play till about 12 am and he still wakes up in time to do this. i didn’t really mind but i don’t exactly enjoy being scratched and being woken up like that.
