I am worried sick about my 9.5 yr old dog who, we found out yesterday, has chronic kidney disease. She has acted a bit strange on and off the last few months and I am kicking myself for not taking her to the vet sooner. She is at the animal hospital till Thursday for dialysis and I am hoping that between that and the new diet prescribed by her vet, she will feel better and stay with us for quite awhile.
Does anyone have positive stories of kidney infection/disease that was managed or taken care of and their dogs went on to have happy lives? Please, I need it tonight. So scared for my pup.
