I know this post might kind of go against this sub reddit, but I will say it anyways.
I have a pet RES turtle. I have had her for 5 years, but now she got really big. I am not looking to buy a bigger tank for many reasons. I want to get a smaller turtle but I don't know what to do with the turtle I have now. The tank is too small for her now, and the tank is getting dirty quickly and I have to clean the tank more frequently which is tiring. What can I do with the turtle I have now? All websites I know of where you can sell things don't permit selling animals, and I read that releasing turtles to a pond can kill them. And of course I am not going to euthanize.
