3 days ago I got my puppy vaccinated . In the car ride home , he got sick and threw up. I called the vet immediately and let her know what was going on . She told me to wait it out and see how he did . The next day he was back to his normal puppy self , but his poop was kind of liquid. I started him on his deworming medication and 2 more days went by and he was doing great. Today all of a sudden I hear little baby cries , then he pukes up foam. Then he immediately poops. And he cries some more . I immediately hopped in my car and drove to the vet . The vet checked some stool samples, temperature , etc and gave him and anti nausea shot . Also sent me home with anti diarrhea pills . He’s been home for about 2 hours now and seems completely groggy . Every now and again he will let out a little cry. My heart is so broken and I wish so badly that I can help him feel better. For reference , he is a 4 pound Morkie. Has this ever happened to someone’s dogs after vaccines ? The vet seems to think he will be ok but I’m just so concerned about his little cries for help . I can’t help wondering if he’s in pain or something . Currently sleeping on my chest as I post this. She told me if he pukes again within the next 24 hours bring him to the hospital . Is this normal???? Help :(
