The cat I adopted a two weeks ago scratched me unexpectedly. I've washed the wound, applied pressure, and have a band-aid on it, but it is still stinging.

Thank goodness, his nails were clipped not too long ago. Was holding him bringing him in, he saw and got scared of something, then he escaped my arms and accidentally scratched my hand and took a layer or two out.
