Hey pet lovers!!My late mother currently owns this adorable kelpie on her rural property here in aussie land, He's about 7yrs now and I swear never has an off button. Christmas is approaching and although he has ample space to run around and she will quite often walk him down to the dam and play fetch in the major paddocks he is pretty under stimulated when she's unavailable.I was considering gifting her a new Boxer doggo but 1. She wouldn't be able to afford him and 2. We live surrounded by new livestock and sometimes this kelpie already escapes as it is which scares us a little bit because farmers tend to shoot stranger animals and the last thing I want is this beautiful new Boxer to get shot by a paranoid farmer.
Is there anything on the market that I can buy that can be placed outside for him to be entertained by? He's got plenty of balls and rubber sticks but every time I'm over and we're all inside or she's working he looks so bored and lonely and I cant help but feel a little sad.I want to express, no she is NOT abusing the animal he is very well cared for and is very fit. I just want him to always have something to do when she's unable to walk or play with him.
Any thoughts?
TLDR: I need suggestions for play structures or independent toys to entertain a bored Kelpie on a rural property.
