Hi,
Since we moved, my cat has visited her local vet twice in the past 6 months. The first time we had to return 5-6 days later because she had contracted the flu. At the time, the treating vet said she had most likely caught it from stress (don't believe that's how flus work but ok).
Now, we attended the vet on Sunday and it is now Thursday and she is frequently sneezing, licking her nose and more lethargic than usual. I believe she has the flu AGAIN despite being currently vaccinated.
She's an indoor cat and has no other possible contact with other cats besides these outings to the vet. These now two return visits for flu treatment are going to put me out $600 AUD.
Any advice? Is this normal? Should I ask for a free consult for this second flu treatment? Or report it/make a complaint?
How, in COVID times, does this happen...
