I can’t afford my dogs surgery to fix his broken leg. They put him in a splint after running tests which already cost me $1000.
They said without the surgery, his leg may never heal properly. They didn’t explain what that meant. I can’t afford the surgery. My only other option besides not getting the surgery is to surrender him to someone else that can afford it. He’s my family though and I can’t imagine doing that.
Anyone have any advice? I don’t want to give him up, but I want him to have the best quality life. Is it selfish to not give him to someone who can afford the surgery?
